Company Blizzard announced the launch of the updated service Battle.net, for multiplayer games and online account management.
The new system will bring up to eight accounts of IMO-game World of Warcraft. Developers report that the improved Battle.net will all come like StarCraft II and Diablo III, as well as an online shop.
Recall that the system was introduced in 1997, simultaneously with the release of the first action-RPG Diablo. Easy registration and easy navigation as soon won the love of the players, but for nearly 12 years as Battle.net had outdated morally and physically.
From today, anyone can register with the system absolutely free of charge, even without any Blizzard-game. Note that now the possibility of combining the accounts of World of Warcraft Battle.net is available only to Americans. Running services in Europe and Korea will be held later. So far, this feature is optional, but only so far. «In the end, we introduce the compulsory registration of Battle.net for everyone to play in World of Warcraft», - explained the developers.
The new system «is designed to provide technical support and the highest quality online games in new projects, as well as to create a simple mechanism of the players and recording their achievements».
Unfortunately, the old games record in the new system will not be able to, they would need the old version, now called Battle.net Classic.
